I was using McAfee Antivirus for over 6 months and when it was expired then I went for the Norton Internet Security 2009. I purchased it from its official Norton website. I was using some programming application that norton was stopping from being executed. I temporarily shutdown the Norton and worked on the program from a while but then I was getting viruses from Internet. I decide to use some other product and uninstall Norton Internet Security 2009. When I did so, it was failed to uninstall. Please tell me how can I uninstall Norton Internet Security 2009 now.

- If you have purchased it then you also got the product key. Now save the product key. To do so go to your norton account login page by visiting http://www.myNortonAccount.com and sign in. After sign in write down your product key and sign out from the site.
- Download the Norton Removal Tool by visiting “ ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe ” and save the file to the windows desktop.
- Follow the on screen instructions to completely uninstall Norton Internet Security 2009.
