I was using Quicktime for a long time and it was one of my favorite applications that I generally use on my PC. But after an antivirus installation in my PC, the quicktime was not going so well. Sometimes my system becomes silent and does not responses for few seconds. It really looks bad if you are in the middle of playing a song and it suddenly stops. Since I have purchased the anti virus by spending a big amount and it is working well in fighting all the threats. I tried to uninstall quicktime but it is not getting uninstall. I want a perfect solution for this.
 
Answer 1 According to the makers of Quick Time “Apple” follow these steps to remove it from PC:
- Open the control panel by visiting start > control Panel
- Choose the Add or Remove Programs
- Locate the Quick Time in the list and select it
- Click on the Change/Remove button. A dialog box appear that ask you “do you completely want to remove quicktime for windows?”
- click OK and then the uninstaller begins uninstallation
If the uninstallation does not completes then you need to download the quicktime (only) standalone installer from the place : http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html .Turn off your anti virus temporarily and Reinstall Quicktime. Then again try to uninstall the quicktime through Add/Remove programs and restart the computer after successful uninstall of quicktime.
