After downloading the PC Mighty Max, I have encountered that my system is getting slower and new desktop shortcuts that are switching homepage. The number of Pop up are also getting higher and the software says to purchase the full version. I don’t want to use it more so trying to uninstall it but it is not uninstalling. Please help me in thoroughly uninstall PC MightyMax.
 
Answer 1 There are manual as well as automatic ways to thoroughly Uninstall PC MightyMax.
Manual Uninstall
You need to do the followings,
- Block PC MightyMax sites
- Stop PC MightyMac Processes
- Remove PC MightyMax Registry keys
To block the site,
- Click on Windows Start menu > Control Panel > Internet Options. Under the home page, select the General > Use Default
- You can also set the url that you want like http://www.google.com
- Select Apply and OK
The processes that you need to stop are,
- PCMightyMaxSetup.EXE
- pcmm2007.exe
- pcmm.exe
To Stop Processes,
- Click Start > Run
- Type taskmgr.exe and click OK
- Go to Processes tab and find all the PC MightyMax processes
- After finding, right click on the items and select End Process to kill the process
The Registry Keys that you have to delete are
O17 – HKLM\\System\\CCS\\Services\\Tcpip\\..\\{A6D6D9D4-AE36-4F9E-9B94-D8311BD76E2F}:
O4 – HKLM\\..\\Run: [PCMM2007RT] “C:\\Program Files\\PC MightyMax 2007\\pcmm2007.exe” /R
O4 – HKLM\\..\\Run: [PCMMRealtime] C:\\Program Files\\PC MightyMax\\pcmm.exe /RNameServer = 212.59.2.2 212.59.1.1
To remove PC MightyMax registry keys,
- Start > Run and type regedit and OK
- Registry Editor will be open in two pane
- To find the Registry keys of the PC MightyMax, select Edit and the Find and in the search bar type any of the PC MightyMax registry keys
- After finding them, delete the keys by right click and selecting Modify and then click on Delete
After all these, delete the PC MightyMax folder which is present in Program files and Use\'s Application Data folder. Then Reboot the system to see the changes.
