Hi everyone, while searching for a good antivirus and malware, spyware remover programs, I found software named Ad-Aware. It was free and I downloaded it from its official site. Once my computer crashed and when it started again, Ad-Aware was not running and encounters problems. I decide to uninstall this software but when I tried to do so, I receive a message saying “can’t find the Install.log”
I don’t know how to fix this problem so searching for a good answer. Give me feedbacks and suggestion on this topic. ”

Answer 1 Hi pal, There are many methods to uninstall Ad-Aware . Some of them are:
- Click Uninstall Ad-Aware in Lavasoft folder of your start menu
- If it does not work then Go to control panel > Add/Remove Programs and locate the Ad-aware SE
Another way to uninstall it is to execute the unwise.exe . you can find it at c:\Program Files\lavasoft\Ad-aware SE [personal/Plus/Professional]\.
Uninstall Ad-Aware Manually
- Go to my computer and locate Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE folder (c:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware)
- Run the file “unregaaw.exe”
- Delete the Ad-Aware SE folder
- Delete the Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE link in your start menu
- Delete the Ad-Aware SE icon from desktop
- Navigate to the c:\Documents and settings\(user name)\Application Data\Lavasoft and delete the entire lavasoft folder
- Clean recycle bin
- Reboot system
These steps will remove Ad-Aware and all the related files present in your computer system. Good Luck!
