I was using windows messenger. I removed it from the disk. But when I tried to load other version of windows messenger then a message appears that the previous version of windows messenger is still on the memory disk. Please confirm the step or suggest any alternative methods of windows live messenger uninstaller? One more thing which happened was when I restarted my computer after removing the older version of windows messenger then it was delay in opening outlook express. Why is that so and how it should be eradicated?

In windows XP you will also find messenger service built-in which is responsible for pop-up ads through address if IP. These two are not similar with each other although they have similar sounding names.
Now for windows live messenger uninstaller process you should check that which service pack has been loaded on your system. For this in control panel click the system option. If in that service pack 1 is listed then it is said that your system has windows service pack 1 operating system. If you have configure this then make sure that outlook express, internet explorer and other features are not in progress. It is highly recommended that windows explorer should be unloaded from the tray as well. Then go to start menu and click run. When the run window is opened then paste the text line mentioned below:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\\INF\\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
And then at last click the OK button.
The other method of doing this is, go to start menu, enter in control panel and click to add and remove programs. When you point your cursor on to windows messenger then click add remove button. Then uncheck windows messenger. After clicking on this you will get a dialog box. Click next and then finish the task by clicking on to finish button. After it is done don\'t forget to restart your computer system.
After windows live messenger uninstaller is accessed then outlook express will consume more time if contact panel is enabled. If you want to eradicate the delay then in start menu\'s run command write REGEDIT and then enter. By hitting on the pluses next option, go to the registry location.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Outlook Express
In the right panel of the window click right mouse button then select Dword value, New. As new registry key hide messenger should be clicked. Double click the new registry entry and the value should be set to 2.
